Douglas G. Fehrer
Managing Director, Human Resources
Doug Fehrer is the Managing Director for Human Resources for the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC). Mr. Fehrer has more than twenty-five years of work experience in the public and private sectors. He has served as MCC’s Human Resources Director since May 2004.
Prior to joining the MCC, Mr. Fehrer served as the head of the Federal oversight team for the Transportation Security Administration human resources services contract with the Accenture Corporation. Before serving in this role within the Department of Homeland Security, he served as Director of Human Resources for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
Mr. Fehrer’s federal human resource experience includes three tours with the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM), as well as two tours at the White House, the last of which was as Director of White House Personnel from 1992-1993. He also served at the Defense Intelligence Agency and the U.S. Department of Labor. His commitment to the U.S. military began in 1988 when he joined the Virginia National Guard. He later transferred to the U.S. Army Reserve where he served as an IMA Chaplain’s Assistant.
Mr. Fehrer is married and has two children, and they currently reside in Northern Virginia.
