Department of Compact Implementation

The Department of Compact Implementation:

  • Manages MCC's relationship with Compact countries in which the Compacts have entered in to force or about to enter into force.
  • Provides technical expertise in specific sectors, such as education, finance, infrastructure, agriculture and health.
  • Ensures that MCC Compacts are implemented in compliance with MCC core standards for procurement, financial management, environmental and social impacts, mitigation and compliance, and program gender integration.
  • Tracks the performance of MCC Compact programs by collecting and analyzing performance measurement data.   

MCC has a resident mission presence in MCA countries during Compact implementation. Washington-based Department members also travel to Compact countries to offer technical support. 

The Department of Compact Implementation has two regional divisions—Africa and Asia, Eurasia and Latin America. The Department also includes the following technical divisions:

  • Agriculture, Land, Private Sector Development and Procurement, Financial Management, Monitoring and Evaluation and Economic Analysis.
  • Infrastructure and Environmental and Social Assessment
