MCC and Jordan Sign U.S. Government Grant to Develop Poverty Reduction Program
Washington, D.C. — The United States Government’s Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) and the Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan entered into a grant agreement on June 4, 2009 that will provide up to $13.34 million to develop a large-scale MCC Compact program focused on poverty reduction through economic growth.

Millennium Challenge Corporation Board of Directors Announces 2007 Compact Eligible Countries: Moldova, Jordan, and Ukraine
Washington, DC – The Board of Directors of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) today selected three new countries to join the 22 nations now eligible for development assistance from the Millennium Challenge Account (MCA).

Millennium Challenge Corporation Board Names Fiscal Year 2006 Threshold Countries
Washington, D.C. – Today, the Board of Directors of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) selected a total of 13 countries to participate in the Threshold Program for fiscal year 2006.  The Threshold Program is designed to assist countries that do not qualify but are close and are committed to undertaking the reforms necessary to improve policy performance that may eventually help them qualify for Millennium Challenge Account (MCA) Compact assistance.
