As part of the MCC-Cabo Verde Compact, the agency supported the Government of Cabo Verde in transforming the land management sector to establish a single, reliable source of land rights to facilitate private investment across the islands.
MCC’s investments supported the Government of Cabo Verde as it undertook institutional reforms that are expanding access to and affordability of water and sanitation services to help people lift themselves out of poverty.
As part of the MCC-Cabo Verde Compact signed in 2012, MCC is supporting the Government of Cabo Verde in bringing a wastewater plant on the island of Sal online and strengthening the water and sanitation sector to better serve its people.
