Doing Business with MCC in Africa: Significant Procurement Opportunities in 2009

MCC and the Business Council for International Understanding, with sponsorship from Development Finance International, are hosting an information session on “Doing Business with MCC in Africa: Significant Procurement Opportunities in 2009.”

The program will include a panel of experts to provide an overview of major upcoming procurement opportunities in MCC programs in Africa including Burkina Faso, Ghana, Lesotho, Mali, Mozambique, Namibia and Tanzania.

Opportunity sectors include: road construction, energy, water, irrigation, transportation and other construction.

Following the panel there will be a presentation by the MCC Director of Program Procurements who will go over the procurement process, standard bidding documents, payment process, dispute resolution etc. There will be time for questions, answers and discussion. MCC staff will also be on hand to answer questions and provide information during the coffee and registration period.
