In late November, the Fourth High-Level Forum on Aid Effectiveness will take place in Busan, South Korea. The U.S. Government will have a prominent role in the Forum, and the U.S. delegation will be led by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and will include MCC Chief Executive Officer Daniel Yohannes.
This event, co-hosted by the Millennium Challenge Corporation and the Council of the Americas, will focus on aid effectiveness in Latin America through the lens of private sector development and economic growth. Representatives from the U.S. Government and the private sector will share experiences, challenges, and lessons learned in engaging with regional actors to promote trade and development for aid effectiveness.
Assistant Secretary of State Jose Fernandez will provide keynote remarks. Confirmed panelists include:
