Statement on the Passing of Thomas Hohenthaner

WASHINGTON, D.C., February 14, 2023 – MCC is deeply saddened by the loss of our beloved colleague Tom Hohenthaner. As the agency’s Acting Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary, Tom was an important member of MCC’s senior leadership team and a respected colleague who demonstrated compassion and teamwork in all that he did. His quick wit, extensive knowledge, and stalwart commitment to MCC’s mission were a guiding force for his department, agency colleagues, and our country partners. Having joined MCC in 2006, Tom had a wealth of institutional knowledge and expertise in United States Government operations that made him a significant part of the agency’s success.

Tom will be remembered for his limitless kindness, unparalleled professionalism, and selfless dedication. Our thoughts are with his loved ones. He will be deeply missed.
