Washington, D.C.Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) CEO Ambassador John Danilovich made the following statement today following Senator Hillary Clintons remarks regarding MCC at her Senate confirmation hearing to be U.S. Secretary of State:

I would like to thank Secretary of State-designate Hillary Clinton for her kind and constructive comments about MCC at her Senate confirmation hearing today. As the Secretary of State serves as the Chair of the Millennium Challenge Corporation, we are looking forward to the leadership of Secretary-designate Clinton on our Board of Directors to help the agency continue to tackle the important issue of reducing global poverty. I applaud her comments today that show a clear commitment to U.S. development assistance.

At her Senate Foreign Relations Committee confirmation hearing, Senator Clinton submitted the following remarks about MCC:
