The Millennium Challenge Corporation's (MCC) Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Alice Albright, will testify before the House Foreign Affairs Committee on Tuesday, June 14 at 10 a.m.

Ms. Albright will testify alongside Scott Nathan, the CEO for the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation, and Carol Spahn, the CEO for the Peace Corps. The hearing will be chaired by Congressman Gregory Meeks and address President Biden’s fiscal year 2023 budget request for each agency.
President Biden’s budget request seeks $930 million for MCC. The requested funds would increase the agency’s impact by allowing MCC to build on its proven, data-driven model to reduce global poverty through inclusive, sustainable economic growth.
Since its inception in 2004, MCC has partnered with 49 countries, investing roughly $15 billion in lower- and lower-middle income grants across six continents. Collectively, these investments are improving the lives of an estimated 215 million people.
