WASHINGTON (Mar. 03, 2022) – The Millennium Challenge Corporation’s (MCC) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Alice Albright welcomed Paula Garcia Tufro as the agency’s Chief of Staff today.
As the Chief of Staff, Tufro will support the management of the agency’s administrative programs, ensure the CEO’s priorities are implemented across MCC’s operations, and provide strategic guidance and support.
“We are thrilled to welcome Paula to the MCC team,” said Albright. “She brings a wealth of experience in government and international affairs. Her proven track record of organizational development will add to our world class team working to fight poverty for people around the globe.”
Tufro has nearly 20 years of experience in the private and public sector and most recently served as senior policy advisor in the Washington office of the U.S. Mission to the United Nations. In this role, Tufro advised the U.S. Permanent Representative to the UN on a range of U.S. foreign policy issues, including global development, democracy, human rights, climate, and Western Hemisphere affairs.
