For Immediate Release

June 25, 2013

The Council of Foreign Relations, one of the United States’ foremost foreign policy organizations, has invited MCC CEO Daniel W. Yohannes to become a member.

Founded in 1921, the Council on Foreign Relations is an independent, nonpartisan membership organization, think tank and publisher. Less than 4,700 people are members of CFR, including top government officials, renowned scholars, business leaders, acclaimed journalists, prominent lawyers, and distinguished nonprofit professionals.

“I am honored to be invited to join the Council on Foreign Relations,” Yohannes said. “CFR’s members include some of the most prominent thought leaders in foreign relations, and I am excited about the opportunity to engage with other members on international development, foreign aid and other issues of global significance.”
