Interrogate project logics to ensure causal pathways are realistic and achievable. The Marine Protected Areas sub-activity did not produce anticipated results in increased fish stocks or ensuring the long-term health of marine ecosystems. Establishing proper levels of harvesting of natural resources like fish through regulations like quotas are still a subject of research and investigation even in well-developed markets, and a system for managing fish harvest levels in Morocco might require a more sustained effort.
