Lesson Learned
Complement future WASH infrastructure investments with robust public outreach and behavior change components to be more effective. The evaluation found that drainage infrastructure did not achieve targeted results because the drainage suffers from solid waste accumulation. Solid waste clogging up drains could be mitigated by pairing the infrastructure with public outreach and behavior change campaigns.
