When designing survey instruments, evaluators should ensure can collect key factors, including land parcel size, grazing patterns and land quality. Through IPA’s collaboration with the USDA/ARS, land quality and productivity was incorporated into the evaluation via USDA/ARS land quality analysis. Measuring grazing patterns using animal tracking devices and/or aerial drones in the future could contribute to data collection efforts.
